In our media lesson today, we checked the legal issues in using our song 'Not Like The Movies' by Katy Perry and to make sure it is okay to use it. Our teacher told us to write to the production company saying it's for educational purposes.We printed off copies of the song's lyrics to annotate and brainstorm thoughts for shots for our music video. We also discussed possible artist names, some of us liked the names Darcy, Lola and Amelie.
We did find another song by Katy Perry called 'I'm Still Breathing' which we really liked, but after we discussed possible shots with our class, there were a lot more possible ideas for 'Not Like The Movies'.
