Spent our two hour lesson today collecting our last few props (wedding magazine and got photos developed) and filming our dressing table shots and a couple of the dinner table shots too. I brought a range of outfits that she thought was suitable and we had Jodie's wardrobe to go through too. Heena and Jodie choose a cream sequin dress as my main costume as it fitted with the pop convention and was very 'girly' and feminine. While I got dressed and put her makeup on, Heena and Jodie set the scene on my dressing table adding a lamp for extra light and cutting out photos from the wedding magazine and arranging them for a believable setting. We have made sure to take photos of all the settings we create so that if we need to go back and re-shoot we can match them up exactly how they were.
^ We made sure we shot a lot today as we had to be careful our reflections were not caught on camera!
^ shot minutes of extreme close-ups of my face to film my tears rolling down my cheeks even though the shot we need is seconds long! I had water splashed in my eyes and makeup running down my face for believable emotion!
