Today we had a double Media lesson. The first lesson we spent this focusing on our target audience before we continued with any more of our storyboard. We justified the decisions we had made with our music video so far and this task helped to keep us focused on the needs and expectations of our target audience. We have created questionnaires to hand out and plan to interview members of our target audience before and after our video is created to find out what they think and receive feedback so that we can improve.
The second lesson we continued with our storyboard in this lesson and threw some more ideas into the mix. We come up with the idea that for the chorus of our song we could act out and film really well known romantic movie scenes as it would fit with the lyrics 'not like the movies' and lighten the mood of our music video a little as we don't want it to become too heavy and depressing due to our target audience and the conventions of pop music.
We looked at this website for ideas on the romantic movie scenes:

We also thought this scene would be good as its from a well known film and would be easy to act out as well.
