Britney Experience

1) What do you think you learnt from the Britney planning, filming and editing experience?

During the Britney experience, I learnt about the process of filming and the need to time it so specifically to make it fit the song. I also learnt that lighting, position and lip-synching quality is important to consider as you could film it over 5 times and all of those shots may not be good enough to use in the final piece. I learnt that the whole process is extremely time consuming and thorough planning is key to getting the shot in the minimal time. This was evident when we didn'd do much planning and the whole group spent more time discussing the shot than actually filming it.

2) For you, what part of the process did you enjoy the most?

I particularly enjoyed the dancing scenes because I have dancing experience and it was fun to film with my friends.

3) How do you think the work you have done will impact on your group project?

This project will help me and my group understanding the filming process and the need for planning. Being able to learn how to use the camera will help me and my group because we won't be wasting time trying to work it out rather than actually filming, which takes time in itself.

4) What were your particular strengths?

I believe my particular strengths in the project was the participation as I offered to be Britney for one of the dancing scenes, I dressed in the same school uniform as her and offered to be in the first shot.
